SANDRA MARY KLINCK (nee LILLEYWHITE) January 15, 1945 - June 13, 2014 With deep sadness we announce the passing of Sandra, beloved wife of Rod; loving mother of John (Ivy) and Lisa (Todd); devoted grandmother of Nathan. Born and educated in England Sandra met the love of her life on a school exchange to Canada. A teacher by trade her kindness and creative flair have impacted and shaped many lives both during and after the course of her career. Sandra married her love June 19, 1976 and the couple made their home and raised their family together in Winnipeg. She dedicated her life to her deep love of family, always concerned about the well being of others, and we can't thank her enough for the warm and wonderful home she provided. Her passions were many, none more than her love of all things equestrian, the British Royal family, her flower filled garden come bird and bunny sanctuary, and of course, the Winnipeg Jets. Sandra was fortunate to have enjoyed many travel adventures with her family and close friends, most recently making her second home in the Bahamas. Sandra led a full life overflowing with love and countless friendships. Sandra enriched the lives of everyone she met; we cannot begin to express the profound loss of her passing. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring and compassionate staff at Concordia Hospital for looking after Sandra and our family. At Sandra's request there will be no formal service, cremation and interment have taken place. A party in celebration of Sandra's life will be held, see www.CelebratingSandra.myevent.com for party details and to share your memories/express your condolences. "I can't think of a more wonderful thanksgiving for the life I have had than that everyone should be jolly at my funeral. Admiral Lord Mountbatten." In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made in memory to the Canadian Lung Association.
